Anger Management

With reference from one of the previous PCME lesson Anger Management, I am going to talk about my views on it in this post.

I believe anger management, although not the most important psychological control we must have, is a very crucial factor we must have to ensure that we become a better person. One without proper anger management would flare up easily and cannot control this anger of theirs, leading to them doing wrong things when they are hot in their head. At the end of the day, most people who cannot handle their anger well would find that they would soon be segregated from the crowd due to their bad temper and habit to flare up at the slightest thing you can find.

To be able to handle anger well, the first thing you would need to do; think before you act. Whenever you feel angry and have the urge to punch that very person before you, think. What has this person done to make you so angry at him? Maybe its just you yourself overacting? For those people who really cannot control their actions when they are angry, they should just walk away, not because they are afraid or cowards, but because it is a chance for them to cool down to make sure they do not do anything wrong.

Some extreme examples of anger would be people who actually kill others just because they were very angry at what they do. This moment of folly not only made them do something immoral, but also ruined their whole life because of this criminal record. Other cases would be whereby parents quarral and get angry over each other, in the end filing for divorce. At the end of the day, the one who perishes is neither of them, but their own flesh and blood; their children.

As such, I believe that anger management is a very important quality we must all have in order to succeed in life.
